The glasses pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth through the dedicated Solos companion app, serving as a direct hands-free gateway to various AI services. A major plus is the platform's multi-LLM architecture. While primarily marketed alongside ChatGPT, the app's open framework actually allows users to switch over to Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini. You can wake the AI assistant using either a physical activation button or the "Hey Solos" hotword. The standout feature here is SolosTranslate, a real-time translation tool that supports multiple modes, including one-on-one conversations and a passive group listening mode, whispering the translation directly into your ear.
